The region NO.1 of Gudong oilfield locates on the interjection of Gubei sag, Zhuangdong subbasin and Gudong buried hill, about 30 km~2, mostly characterized by three kinds of oil-bearing lay, such as Wantao Fm , Dongying Fm and HeJie Fm, presenting many near EW strike fault and SN strike fault. The stratums descent to north and west in the mass. This region is close with Zhuangdong and Gubei oil source sag, presenting tertiary stratums, the combination of reservoir and capping is good, will becomes advantaged region for oil and gas assemble and will be one of the importrtant exploration regions at Gudong oilfield next.On structure, influenced by Gudong fault and stake fault NO.5, presenting several strips NE strike faults and near EW strike echelon faults, extending to Zhuangdong subbasin at NE, and most faults are inherited faults, penetrating all tertiary stratums in this region, providing oil and gas with good migratory passages. Synthetically analyzing the deposit-forming potential of tertiary stratums north of Gudong, the Shahejie Fm and Wantao Fm oil deposit are mostly influenced by reservoir upgrowth.On sedimentation, Low Tertiary stratum of north region of Gudong overlap each other from Zhuangdong subbasin and Gudong buried hill, upper tertiary stratums drape on it. The Shahejie Fm of low sertiary mostly grows Sha-segment NO.3 and Sha-egment NO.1 stratum, can form fault block and stratum type of oil and gas deposit. Upper WanTao Fm is meandering stream sedimentation mostly, the proportion of grit to mud turns less and less, the combination of reservoir and cover rock is good, and the reservoir this region is incised by near EW strike fault at the same time, forming good movement and reservior combination relation, providing lithology deposit-forming with good foundation. There are some new discovers in succession through near several years continually and home research to this region. However, because the region structure and reservoir condition are very complex, the wells around are not very ideal, so the most important work this time is to make out the character of structure and reservoir and find new oil emergence spot and find new reserves growth spot at this region. In order to excavate the potential, it is need to do synthetically geology research in Gudong region NO.1 and Tertiary oil-bearing stratum around to find advantageous lithology and lithology-structuretrap.
