We introduce self-driven particle models to describe the behavior of many pedestrians in limited space. In this article, we first describe the interaction force among pedestrians or between pedestrian and bounder which is around him, what we do is to introduce the conception and the physical means of the social force and the self-driven force which the pedestrian have.Secondly, we consider a simple continuum model exihibiting a paradoxical, new kind of transition that we call "freezing by heating". The most interesting feature of the transition we find for this system is that a crysticallized state with a higher total energy is achieved from a fluid state over a transient disordered state by increasing the amount of fluctuations. In the end, on the grounds of the above two chapts, we study that in a room of size 15m×15m, when emergency happens how the various factors influence the time of crowd stampede induced by panic. We take measures to reduce the time of crowd stampede by inserting a board behind the door. We study how the length and the position of the board influence the time of crowd stampede .What we do can provide a reference for designing large buildings and distributing of lans in a road...
