| Remote sensing technology has great superiorities in the geological resource exploration, as that its spatial and spectral feature can overcome the vision problems in conventional geologic measures, reveal abounding informational characteristics of surface object, which cannot be observed by naked eyes and solve many problems that cannot be settled by conventional measures.Remote sensing image records all sorts of characteristics of geological body comprehensively, truly and objectively. From the geological angle, the characteristics of remote sensing image are the magnitude evidences in identification of geological phenomena, as that they are regarded as indications of geological characteristics. Thus, how to use various image characteristics in identifying geological body and phenomena makes certain senses for speeding up geological resource exploration, boundary mapping and ore-forming analysis and forecast.This paper starts with the development of remote sensing technology in resent years and its application in geologic at present, discussing the development of remote geological interpretation technology and the advantages and disadvantages of multifarious methods. Then it shows some research in information fusion technology, which has the most promoting appliance foreground in the interpretation-tech, and discussion in the correlation of relative statistics. On the base of consulting previous research fruits fully, this paper analyzes and interprets the image characteristics of all kinds of geological bodies and phenomena (as the geological interpretation evidences) and supplies evidences for geological resource exploration, boundary mapping and ore-forming analysis. |
