| In this paper, two variants of the generalized Kdv and Kp equations with pure nonlinear terms are studied. By employing the theory of bifurcations of dynamical systems, the existence of solitary travelling wave solutions, uncountably infinite many smooth periodic wave solutions and non-smooth periodic travelling wave solutions, is obtained. Under different parametric conditions, various sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence of the above solutions are given. |
