Termite take the timber as food, and make a huge economic losing every year The wood-destroyed ability of the termite comes from a great deal of symbiosis microorganism in its body, If we use an special matter to kill the microbes effectively, the wood-destroy ability of the termite will be broken , thus attaining the purpose of the prevention and cure termite .The termite powder that used in this experiment was taken a sample on September 10 in 2003 from the university of Louisiana, and the Odontotermes formosanus was sampling from Luojia mountain of Wuhan City.In the experiment,we extract tens endogenesis microbes from the termite' s enteron .All of them can grow up naturally on the culture medium that the only carbon provided is cellulose or lignose. And there are 2 fungi and 2 bacterium, that have much higher ability in digesting lignose and cellulose. And there are 2 fungi are named HUBII-001, HUBII-002, and 2 bacterium are named HUBI-003, HUBI-005.The highest enzymatic power for bacterium , HUBI-003 is 8. 02U/mL , HUBI-005 is 8. 86 U/mL, after ferment for 2 days. For fungi, HUBII-001 is 25.86 U/mL , HUBII-002 is 28.90 U/mL after ferment for 3 days.The category are identified by appearance observation, physiology and biochemical experiment, 16 s rDNA gene sequence contrast.
