The thesis is mainly to design a nonlinear controller of the generalized decentralized systems that make the signals of the systems convergence to zero in finite time. The main works includes:The second chapter in this paper is about how to transform the generalized decentralized systems into the normal decentralized systems. For the generalized decentralized systems without impulse behavior it can be transformed into the normal d ecentralized sy stems only by the e quivalent t ransformation. While for the generalized decentralized systems with impulse behavior we transform them into the normal decentralized systems not only by equivalent transformation but also by state feedback to make the systems impulse free. To reduce the calculations the further study about the equivalent transformation of the generalized decentralized systems is given. The design of the nonlinear controller for the generalized decentralized systems with impulsive modes is given in the third chapter. The nonlinear controller for the generalized decentralized systems with input time-delay is present in the fourth chapter. The design of the nonlinear controller for the generalized decentralized systems with uncertainty is also considered in the fifth chapter. For the above three systems, in order to design the nonlinear controller the systems are transformed into the normal decentralized system firstly and the concepts of convergence in finite time and the approaches of backstepping are adopted. When the state converges to zero in finite time, all the signals of the closed-loop systems also tend to zero in the same time. And thus the performance of the systems become optimal.
