Abstract/Summary:
The nonconforming Wilson element is used to solve the Stokes problem, which extends the applied range of the Wilson element. Although the element does not satisfy the inf-sup condition, it still can be used to compute the displacement successfully. Some techniques are applied so that both the displacement and the press converge. We also analyze the quasi-Wilson element and five-parameter element, which can be used to solve the Stokes problem.
