The Establishment Of The Kunming Area Qingbaikouan Liu Batang Group

Liubatang Group, composed of Dabaihuashan formation, Huanglishan formation and Qingshuigou formation, belongs to Qingbaikou System in Kunming area of Central Yunnan Province. It's thickness is X X meters. From bottom to top, Liubatang Group consists of littoral rapid detrital deposit in near source, carbonatite platform sediment and bearing-carbonaceous, bearing-siliceous fine detrital deposit forming in reduction environment in confined gulf. Genera and genus of eukaryotic microfossils discovered in upper siliceous rock can be correlated with Bitter Spring's in Australia. They both belongs to Early Neoproterozoic era. Carbonaceous slate from Qingshuigou formation located in upper Liubatang Group has been dated by means of Rb-Sr whole-rock isochronism method and some ages from 993Ma to 1002Ma has been dated. So Liubatang Group assuredly is remained with Qingbaikou System.Liubatang Group, covering on Middle Proterozoic Kunyang Group, is confined by the plane of unconformity engendered in Huanglianshan movement. Conglomerate layer's thickness in bottom of Liubatang Group is 29 to 37 meters and the plane is regarded as parallel unconformity. The movement mainly showed epirogenetic characteristics and didn't cause notable metamorphism and folding of Kunyang Group. The tectonic movement occurred at 1000Ma ago. The plane separate from Middle Proterozoic and Neoproterozoic and is bottom line of Qingbaikou System.The top line of Liubatang Group, been covered by Chengjiang formation of Nanhua System, is confined by the plane of unconformity engendered in Jinning movement and the plane is regarded as angular unconformity. The plane was formed in 850Ma ago. The tectonic movement caused notable region lower-temperature kinetic metamorphism and forming of Kunyang Group and Liubatang Group. The plane separated from Qingbaikou System and Nanhua System.The bottom and top of Liubatang Group, stratigraphic unit confined by unconformity, both bounded by the plane of unconformity. The bottom and top of Qingbaikou System in South China, for example, Xiajiang Group and Banxi Group in Guizhou Province, Banxi Group in Hunan Province, Danzhou Group in Guangxi, all bounded by the plane of unconformity that Wuling movement or Sibao movement and Xuefeng movement caused from. So they all are stratigraphic unit confined by unconformity. These are mainly Characteristics of Qingbaikou System and identified signs to it in South China.
