| Based on the attenuation theory of seismic wave in media, we used seismic prospecting technique to explore different coal seams of XinZhuangZi mine, PanYi mine and XieYi mine in Huainan city Anhui province. In addition, we used this technique to detect the gas-burst 2(1) coal seam of Daping mine in Henan province and the coal seem without gas of Lingzi mine in Shandong province. Through these seismic wave attenuation coefficient experiments, we studied the characteristics of P- wave and S-wave velocity, elastic modules and porosity. We emphasized the relationships among the inhesion frequency, spectrum character, coefficient of absorption and quality factor that reflects the physical nature and state of different coal seams, put forward a new classification method of coal seam using inhesion frequency and quality factor, and confirmed that it is gas-burst coal seam if inhesion frequency is under 100 Hz while the Q value is under 1. Combining with the geology recording of mines of Huainan city, we evaluated the practicability of this method and validated it through the experiment of 7124 working-face in Qidong mine in the north of Anhui province. This is a new and practical prediction method, have important meanings no matter in the theory or the production practices and have extensive application prospect. |
