This paper had the reformation of modern physical experiments in mind, took experimental content reformation as the main body, aimed at cultivating the ability and innovating spirit of students, discussed the basic of introducing DFWM experiment of Polyvinyl Alcohol films doped with Methyl Orange dyes ,and got a experimental project .The technique of DWFM and the nonlinear medium adopted in our experiment are taken much attention now. To introducethese into modern physical experiment teaching will enrich its contents , body the requirements for cultivating the ability of students ,and be a significative try on experimental reformation with some referential value on education reformation. This paper included four parts i.e. five chapters. The first part (chapter one) analyzed the actualities of experimental teaching reformation , pointed out the problems, and put forward the reformation project. The second part (chapter two) discussed the bases of introducing this experiment into modern physical experiment teaching, and pointed the essentiality of doing this .The third part (chapter three and chapter four) was the theory of this experiment what mainly introduced the coupling equation of DFWM, configuration and characteristics of azo dyes. The fourth part (chapter five) was the emphases of this article, and discussed the projection of this experiment, i.e. experimental equipment, content, etc .The fifth part (conclusion) analyzed the function of introducing this experiment into modern physical experiments on experimental teaching reformation and cultivating the students` ability.
