Located in Gaoyao county of Guanddong province and controlled by a ductile shear zone , the Hetai gold deposit is a typical and a large gold deposit in south China which lies in the south side of east-westward complicated tectonic zone in NanLing and the different tectonic super -imposing composite position. It is a very prospecting ore-forming region.Based on the predecessor's work, through the careful and thorough geological investigation, acquisition of a great amount of geological information and rock and ore samples on the ore district and its periphery, applying modern petrology deposit theory geochemistry mineralogy isotope geology and metallogenetic prognosis theory & method, combining other subjects,also by means of computer to deal with datas and simulate relevant maps, beginning in the ore-forming geological background, the author analysed the relationship among the ore-forming and stratum structures magmatic rock migmatite. It's the first time to demonstrate the existing of inversion composite anticline in the mining area. Applying the views of geomechanics, the article analysed the evolution and changes of the ore district structure in macro and micro sides. After deeply studying geological features of ore deposit genesis of source beds character of metallogenetic fluid direction of ore fluid flowing and the migrating form of metallogenetic elements, the article has put forward a new view on ore-genesis, and established new metallogenetic model. Also the author analysed varies ore-controlling factors, summarized metallogenetic rule. In the practice of ore-exploring, multipurpose using the methods of geophysical prospecting chemical exploration and remote sensing, the study pointed out some prospecting regions.The study suggested that the main ore-forming substance Au derived from C group stratum of Sinian(source bed), ore-forming thermal fluid was mixture of meteoric water metamorphic water magmatic water, the Au etc.metallogenetic elements in the ore solution migrated in the form ofcomplexion, and deposited in the environment of slightly alkali deoxidization. The genetic type of this ore deposit belongs to the thermodynamical metamorphism and hydrothermal circulation accumulation Au deposit controlled by the ductile shear zone. This model fully exposed the essential rule of side pitch in mine, and put forward the necessary condition of industry ore-body formed in the mylonite belt.
