Amino acids and biogenic amines are both very important substances. Amino acids, which are important biological living organisms and basic compounds of protein, are regarded as the most important compounds of protein model in theoretical research. Biogenic amine is also an important substance and has remarkable resistance of bacterial activity. Escherichia coli is a comparatively lively, strongly adaptable, representative microbe of all microorganisms. In this paper, activity regularity of amino acids and biogenic amines for Escherichia coli in growth metabolism process has been studied by micro-calorimetric method; thermal kinetic parameters of five amino acids has been determined by differential scanning calorimeter; quantitative structure-activity relationships were discussed initially by means of physical chemistry, quantum chemistry and so on. It will be most significant to study Escherichia coli' recognition, function and biotransformation for biotic micro-molecule; to search new lead drug compound in studying bio-rational design method; and to explore effective regularity of compounds including nitrogen for life system. This paper includes four chapters. The first chapter introduces chiefly research status and correlative contents about function of amino acids and biogenic amine for Escherichia coli; summarizes development and actuality of thermo-kinetics, micro-calorimetric method and thermo-kinetic analysis; represent briefly contents, purposes and characters of the paper. The second chapter includes three parts. The first part introduces bacteria growth models of biologic thermo-kinetic. The second part summarizes briefly theory and background of thermo-analysis kinetics. The third part summarizes theories and methods about structure analysis of compound; extended H ckel theory and density functional theory are introduced. The third chapter includes four parts. In the first part, structures of eighteenamino acids were optimized particularly by AM1 and B3LYP methods. In the second part, the power-time curves of E. coli in eighteen amino acids were determined by using a 2277 Thermal Activity Monitor. According to Malthus model, the growth rate constants at different concentrations were calculated. The relationships between the growth rate constants and drug concentrations were gained. Effective concentrations of 18 amino acids for E. coli were confirmed. It showed that 18 amino acids have different effects on E. coli, or E. coli can identify all amino acids by itself. In the third part, quantitative structure-activity relationships of 18 amino acids were discussed initially, which were based on data studied in the first and the second part. In the fourth part, the DSC curves of five amino acids were determined using CDR-4P differential scanning calorimeter, and thermal kinetic parameters were obtained by the universal integral and differential equation methods, and at the same time, relations of their structures and the thermal kinetic parameters were discussed initially. The fourth chapter includes three parts. With the same method used in chapter three, we discussed biogenic amines which have effect on E. coli. In the first part, structures of nine biogenic amines were optimized respectively by AMI and B3LYP methods. In second part, the power-time curves of E. coli in nine biogenic amines were determined using a 2277 Thermal Activity Monitor. According to Malthus model, the growth rate constants at different concentrations were calculated. The relationships between the growth rate constants and drug concentrations were gained. Effective concentrations of 9 biogenic amines were confirmed. It showed that Effective concentrations of 9 biogenic amines for E. coli were reduced with carbon chains of molecule increasing. In the third part, quantitative structure-activity relationships of 9 biogenic amines were discussed initially, which were based on data studied in the first and the second part.In short, in this paper, phenomena of life and basic issues in life process were analyzed from chemical angl...
