| To enhance performance of current distributed geographical information system, this paper mainly dissertates application of GIS based on Agent technology. The paper first discusses Agent technology and its application in GIS and introduce some methods to solve problems of current GIS application such as transform of spatial data, stability of data service, manipulation of heterogeneous GIS entity etc. Based on the analysis of the characters of GIS and Agent, the article applies the Agent ideology to the field of distributed GIS and brings forward an application framework-ABG, which gives a new solution for distributed GIS. In the following part, an implementation of ABG in Flight Optimizing and Management GIS System-FOMGIS is described. According to the performance of the ABG in FOMGIS, the paper analyses of the application of the research in FOMGIS. At last the article gives evaluation to the system and makes some ameliorative suggestion. |
