Now, reflective practice, reflective teaching and reflective teacher are becoming very important questions that are researched in teaching education field. Based on it, some educational experts and scholars began to pay attention to the question of students' reflective learning. Reflective learning as a new style of learning is able to promote the development of students. At the same time, it caters to the reform of higher education that demands to foster student's learning ability to meet the needs of the lifetime study. In our country, the education research of the reflective learning is still at the starting stage. So it is the key point to clarify what is the reflective learning and how it is applied to concrete teaching at the present study. Based on the theories that are studied by forefathers, we set up the theoretical system of reflective learning and apply it to the general physics teaching. We put the emphasis on what the students should reflect on and what is the mode of the reflective learning in the general physics teaching. Then we have carried on the practical research by the educational experiment.This thesis consists of five parts:Part I is an introduction about the backgrounds and current research study of the reflective learning. Part II we explained the theoretical foundation of the reflective learning according to the theory of the metacognition, the theory of constructivism and the theory of the humanism. Part III we explained the meaning, characteristic and theory mode of the reflective learning. Part IV we analyzed the possibility and necessity of carrying on the reflective learning in the general physics teaching; explained the content of the reflective learning and put forward three kinds of study modes of reflective learning in general physics teaching. Among them, we took the emphasis on the study about the mode of the self-reflection with the cooperative reflection. Part V, we took the model that is referred above into the general optics teaching practices to study. Then, we analyzed and discussed the experiment conclusion. At last, we put forward the corresponding suggestion of the teaching.
