For a long time, human' s innorance of ecosystem service function results in overexplcitation of natural resource without reasonable protection. Deterioration of ecological worsening impairs social and economical sustainable development capacity.The ecological function regionalization refer to a methodology which divide the whole area into sub-regions according to natural characteristic, environment situation, society development needs and the difference requirement of recovering ecology. The ecological function regionalization , has provided basis and direction for science protection reasonable and sustainable development of ecosystem.Remote sensing (RS) and Geography information system (CIS) technology is an indispensable tool of the ecological function regionalization. Using RS can rapidly finish the ecological investigation in different scales and analysis the ecological environment information in different period that it' s difficulty with general investigation, with its characters of multiplatform, multiband, multitemporal and its macroscopic and integrality. And when collecting, saving, drawing, changing, showing and analyzing the huge spatial data, the CIS act the very important function as a very effective computer tool.Up to now, there' s nobody put forward the view of "The ecological function regionalization based on RS and CIS" systemily. In this thesis, I take Qingdao City as the case, accomplish the analysis and application of the technology route of the ecological function regionalization of Qingdao City based on RS and CIS, and construct a landscape ecology classification system which more fit to the ecological function regionalization.There are some breakthroughs in this thesis:1. The selection of the RS data sources in different scales ecosystem environment investigations. It is different according to study of the purpose, to select the RS data source with different scales, different space resolution, different wave bands making up and different times.2. Constructing the landscape ecology cell classification system served in the region ecology quality evaluation. This thesis uses the new classification, and fully embodying all of the factors that the different landscape types playing, including: the intensity of the ecology service function, the intensity of interference received from mankind, the sensitive level for ecological environment and the degree of degeneracy.3. Making the synthetic analysis with models and methods of RS and GIS, this thesis achieves the data collection and information extraction of the ecological function regionalization indicators system, form the research achievements fixed region ecology environment system shape form. And analysis the land cover, vegetation cover, soil erosion etc. with RS, GIS tools.4. Adopting a newer method on the ecological function regionalization. According to the intensity of the ecosystem service function and the sensitive level for ecological environment, this paper take the method of synthetic superimpose analysis of many factors, divide the different dimension by ecology protection importance.
