Since Prof. S.J.Pirson of Texas University advanced the term called chimney effect in 1960's, the study that is micromagnetic method in oil & gas exploration began to be known. In 1979 in terms of the resources of the Cement oil field Dr T. J.Donovan, worked in the Geo-survey Graduate School, proposed that there is diagenetic magnetite in sediment terrane above oil and gas reservoir. Besides American Roger Henderson, Saunders, Reynolds, McCabe, Elmore, and B.B.Ellwood, Soviet Russian Bieliezijin, Chinese Liu Qingsheng, Cai zhenjing, Li luling, Wu Yiren, Guo Youzao, Yang Yubin, Tan Qing etc, these scholars took in much research and advanced lots of achievement.Now, almost scholars have accepted the opinion that there is certain relation between magnetic anomaly above oil & gas reservoir and oil & gas reservoir. The Chinese and foreign scholars proposed some hypotheses to the common opinion according to actuary observation and analysis results. It's a pity that up to now all of hypotheses have not made clear the basic and immanent relation between magnetic anomaly above oil & gas reservoir and oil & gas reservoir. The thesis' aim is researching how to show directly information of oil & gas reservoir in use of surface magnetic exploration data and loess susceptibility observation values in an oil & gas region west China, by some well and petroleum geology and stratum resources.According to character of the magnetic data and susceptibility observation values, the thesis analyzes and deals with them by some reasonable methods, for instance the wavelet eliminating noise, the stepwise separated operator separating regional and local magnetic field, the foreboded statistics method distilling susceptibility background value. In terms of the multi-parameter evaluating theory, I make use of the evaluating system in accord with fact to evaluate interrelated well resource and get well quality coefficient. According to magnetic (susceptibility) anomaly distributing character, the oil & gas perspective region was compartmentalized and the magnetic (susceptibility) anomaly-evaluating index was got. The well resources validated the compartmentalized oil & gas perspective region (and evaluating index) and evaluated the consistency between magnetic (susceptibility) anomaly index and well quality coefficient. The statistics analysis shows that evaluated result is up to the mustard and satisfactory. In the end, the thesis supplies the parameter of magnetic & susceptibility anomaly forecasting oil and gas reservoir and pointed out the association with the parameter and the compartmentalized oil & gas perspective region may improve the precision rate greatly in magnetic exploration searching oil and gas reservoir directly. The method of fuzzy evaluating reduced non- coherence of multi-parameter forecasting oil & gas reservoir.The part of conclusion set forth theoretic and practical significance of the thesis' research result and indicated the relation mode of magnetic anomaly and oil & gas reservoir. If several problems pointed in the end can be solved successfully, the precision rate of exploring oil and gas reservoir by magnetism method. Aside from, the step of using magnetism method exploring oil and gas reservoir directly will quicken and the exploration method make better positive effect.
