In this paper, the basic theory and researchful methods for EOS(equations of state)of solid, liquid and gas are stated in detail. EOS of mixture is also generalized more systematically. Two models, Equivalent material model and Mixing phase model, which can describe solid-liquid transition of mixture, are presented too. To validate the models, as an example, solid-liquid transition of 304stain is computed. By applying the free volume theory of liquid, an approximative EOS is deduced in this paper, the liquid-gas transition of metal and changes of metallic gas can adopt this equation. The critical parameters given by it fit well with experimental data that D.A.Young and B.J.Alder give. Basing on the two order tangency at initial point between isotropic curve and Hugoniot curve, a new method for calculating cold energy cold pressure and cohesive energy for solid is presented in the paper, comparison with experimental data manifest that this method is very good and can be applied.
