Parameter design technology is a new technology developed during products design process in latest decade .It is the key step of the Three Design , which is also called as three steps of product design .The Three Design goes like this: system design-1st, parameter design-2nd design acceptance tolerace design-3rd design . System design means that the professional technologists conduct structure design on products of some kind according to their professional knowledge. The parameter design aims that the steady design scheme which is not disturbed by inside and outside factors could be found by studying general fluctuation produced by inside and outside interference, when controllable factors disturbing quality speciality of products change greatly, acceptance to lerance design is to make sure the calculation method of acceptance tolerance after confirming the central value of each parameter.On background of actual data during agglomeration process in a steel plant, this thesis discusses how to use hybrid material regression, parameter design and computer software technology to carry through computer emulation operation, based on building mathematics model of rotating drum index and compounding material proportion of agglomeration mine, so that an effective way to raise rotating drum index could be found.
