Topological Relations In Gis Updated

Topological relations are important spatial relations in Geographical Information System (GIS). Topology is one of the subjects studied in GIS all the while. Most methods today to build topology are not perfect because of their inefficiency in dealing with huge amount of data and complex cases. Moreover,there are few ways to update topology partially in case of data modification.This paper studies the two problems above. On one hand some necessary improvements are made in existing topology building methods for its higher efficiency and adaptability. On the other hand,a set of methods of updating topology partially are proposed which can reduce the time of rebuilding topology greatly in editing data.
