| It is a classically indeterminate problem of the collision of two unequal streams. In the paper the author presents a modified symmetry model to resolve the asymmetry collision and predict the characteristics of the jet and slug. The analytic solutions of the model are compared with the numerical results and with the other two analytic model - the straight assumption and the circle hypothesis, we get a better result relatively to the straight assumption and the circle hypothesis. |
