The study mainly concentrated on the degradation of methamidophos by bacteria isolate from mangrove area; the effect of microbe in controlling red-tide; microbiological monitor in marine environment. The method of GC, FCM (Flow Cytometer) and Microtox were used to study the important role of marine microbe playing in environment. The results showed that:1. The bacteria from mangrove area have fairly high ability in methamidophos-degradation. The growth rate of bacteria varied in different temperature and the bacteria grow better in the degradation solution of 500mg/L mathamidophos than 100 mg/L or 1000 mg/L mathamidophos. The effect of degradation was better under the condition of both shining and shaking than that of both shining and static or dark and static.2. The number of Alexandrium tamarense increased quickly and the pH value reached 8.20 in the eighth to twelfth day.3. The results of FCM and microscope showed that the FCM method was a quickly and simplness way in determining the number of Alexandrium tamarense. Some bacteria have effect on the growth of algae.4. The luminosity decreased during A. tamarense culture. The bacteria added to the A. tamarense culture have some influence on photobacterium. The toxicity of A. tamarense has positive correlation with algae biomass.
