This dissertation concerned the grid generation and numerical computation intandem cascades and splitter blades. There are three kinds of tandem cascades: the axialgaP of the first one was zero, the French blade profile of ONERA was seIected. Casting theflow field at five disparate flow tuming angles, and some analysis and comParison werecompleted. According to the experience of tandem cascade with low loss, one tandemcascade with negative gap was designed and the numerical simulation for performance wasdone. The turboIIIc profile was a tandem cascade which had a positive axial gaP, the threedimensional viscous computation was accomplished and analyzed. Finally, the five kindsof blade profiles of splitter blades were designed by the software of BladeGen.
