In this paper, a non-conforming spectral element method of a viscous/inviscid coupled problem is studied. It is proved that the non-conforming discrete problem is well-posed. The convergence of the discrete solution is derived. As compared to the classical Mortar methods, it is showed that the non-conforming spectral element method has much clearer theoritical analysis, and can be implemented numerically in a much easier way. in the detailed numerical tests, the simulation of the flow past a cylinder, is carried out We compare the result obtained by our coupled model with the ones obtained by the pure viscous model. |
