ABS TRAC.TMaster degree dissertationOn the mean value formula of Dedekind sums(Department of Mathematics, Northwest University,China)Lei Deli (Number Theory)directed by Zhang WenpengThe main purpose of this thesis is using the mean value theorem of the Dirichlet L-functions to study the distribution property of Dedekind sums and get some mean value formula.The Dedekind sums are well know.The study about their properties has attracted many experts in the number theory.The mean value formulas of the Dedekind sums have been studied by Zhang Wenpeng [8],[9] , J.B.Conrey [6] and other researchers.This thesis is composed of two chapters.In chapter I ,we give a mean value formula in the form of >3 S2~?(k, h). In chapter II ,we give two mean value formulas in the form of ~ S(h, k)~2m.
