Based On The Unified Search Interface Technology In The Commercial Database Disk Tape Data

The meteorological information storage retrieval system is a system which uniformly organizes and manages the real-time meteorological data as well as the historical meteorological data, and it also provides retrieval service. For the large amount of data and high price of disk , the data must be retained in disk the first storage device or automatic tape library the second storage device or off- line tape the third storage device according their frequency being accessed, and be managed by commercial DBMS, migration software and archive software. The problem that user抯 retrieval surface isn抰 uniform is also resulted in for the three kinds of software can抰 uniformly manage data distributed over three kinds of storage device. To solve that problem, the technique of retrieving data using uniform surface from disk or tape based on commercial DBMS is researched in this paper. The paper also gives the solution and implemented partially.
