At present, down-the-hole drill, as the general large rock drilling equipment, play a very important role in rock drilling market with its special drilling feature. Boom is one of the key working mechanism, its structure size, flexibility and reliability have a great influence on drill's productivity and using performance. The thesis combines the major science and technology project in Hunan Province, making a carefully and deeply study of down-the-hole drill boom's kinematics, dynamics and optimization, the main job is as followed:The thesis analyzes the kinematics of down-the-hole drill boom by using the kinetic theory of robotics, and establishes the kinetic equations. It analyzes the workspace of boom by using Matlab with numerical solutions. The thesis analyzes the dynamics of down-the-hole drill boom by using the dynamic theory of robotics, and completes the basic theory research of dynamic character analysis. The thesis combines Pro/E and ADAMS, setting up the down-the-hole drill boom's virtual prototype, and study the dynamics simulation of boom lifting, boom deflection, rig lifting, rig turning and promoting compensation. The study supplies the theoretic proof for boom's structural strength analysis and hydraulic cylinder design.According to the "equivalent principle", using ADAMS software's three-dimensional tools of its own re-build the parametric virtual prototype of boom lifting mechanism, boom deflection mechanism, rig lifting mechanism and rig turning mechanism, and completing the optimization. The thesis analysis and researches the results of the optimization, providing theoretical basis and design principles for the design of the down-the-hole drill boom. The thesis puts SWDE120-based down-the-hole drill as a platform, completing the boom lifting, boom deflection, rig lifting and rig turning experiments, and verifies the accuracy of the down-the-hole drill boom's virtual prototype and the simulation results.
