In this paper we study the HIV infection in vivo with time delay, which incorporates theduration for the infected T? cells to release the virus as the delay parameter on the basis refer-ence[1]. We obtain the global stability of the boundary equilibria, by using the Routh-Hurwitzcriteria,constructing Lyapunov function and the nonnegative invariance analysis of the system. And we prove the exitence of the thresholdτ0, the inner equilibria is local asymptotically stableasτ<τ0; the inner equilibria is unstable asτ>τ0; it appears a Hopf bifurcation in the systemasτ>τ0 passing throughτ0 . At last we give the numerical simulation with the Matlab softwareand verify the rationality of the theoretical analysis.
