Maoping Pb-Zn ore deposit is situated on center section of the northeastern Yunnan fold belt, which is lied between the eastern Yunnan tectonic fold belt and the Kang-Dian axis along the southwestern margin of Yangtzi block.The geological structure of study area is complicated, in which the Mineralization of Pb-Zn is widespread, with great exploration potential. In this paper we adopted 1:2000 geological survey in the mining area to investigat the lithology combination and sedimentary characteristics of Maoping Pb-Zn ore deposit and study on the basic structural framework, the main ore-controlling structures and its evolution in the mining area.Depended on them, we carried out geochemical survey construction work in the southeasten of mining area (southeast wing of the anticline) with the theory of tectonic geochemical prospecting methods,combined with the research of surface geological survey, exploration under the surface,the research in the ore deposit, we delineated the prospecting targets, and suggest the zone for the next project.In this paper,drawed the following understanding and conclusions:(1) The aspect of deposit comprehensive study:Based on the research of geological characteristics and ore-controlling factors in the ore deposi, determined this Pb-Zn deposit is the product of large-scale regional ore-forming fluid. It is clear that ore fluid migration from deep to up block,which has distinct Metallogenic characteristics with filling the low-temper temperature hydrothermal epigenetic,and accompanied by some mineralization zone. The formation lithology (coarse grain crystalline dolomite and limestone), structure (steep sloping fault zone and the interface fracture zone) and the trap structure (from the confining layer of impermeable rock, tensile permeable space) the organic combination of above-mentioned factors is the favorable space and place of rich ore body.(2) Tectonics in district:Base on the investigation of the field and collect of the former data to determining the structure and tectonic evolution of the mining area studying the relationship between mineralization and ore-controlling structures. North East and North West structures is the main structural framework of the mining area. The main structural system evolution stage can be divided into five parts:early NE tectonic zone (early Hercynian)â†'NW belt (Hercynian late)â†'SN tectonic zone (Indosinian)â†'late NE belt (Yanshan period)â†'EW tectonic belt (Yanshanian). The formation of Pb-Zn deposit is the result of interactions of the Maoping shear fractures and Shimenkan reverse anticline. The ore carried fluids upward migration depend on the Maoping shear fractures; Shimenkan inverted anticline inverted wing,which is steep slope formation provided favorable contained space for ore forming fluid. The fluid come through the micro-cracks and fracture of Pb-Zn carbonate stratus can extraction minerals enhance and the ore minerals was add on.(3) Known of tectonic geochemistry zone:Base on surface stratigraphy and geochemical and three dimensional profile stratigraphy combined with geochemical exploration methods we the establish the geochemical zone mold to study the elements and element combination of the space distribution characters and determined the sequence of halo axial zone. Proposing the best combination of indicator element mineralization and the corresponding indicator elements of the combination of high temperature type in study area. By the end we applied the results to unknown area of ore to finding ore targets(4) Applications of tectonic geochemistry exploration:A crossing to the studies of 332 primary halo surface rock geochemical samples in the East River area, we circle the five anomalies in the blank area. By the analysis of R type factor, five main factors were achieved, which F2, F3 are the mineralization factors. By this way depending on the factor scores we achieved 5 larger exception mineralization areas.(5) Metallogenic prediction:Combine with ore-controlling structures, alteration and geochemical anomalies information, we obtain four Prospect exploration districts, are as followsâ‘ Xiushuigou brige 1 to Changfa hole prospect district;②The southern of Coal blocks prospect district;③South east of New Street prospect area;â‘Łhe east of Fifth Hope Primary School of Yunye to the southwest of Linjiaping prospect district. The result will be considered as the prospect district for engineering and geophysical exploration, as the basis for further exploration work carry out.
