| Along with the development of Chinese market economy and economic reforms, more and more FDI inflows in Shanxi Province. Because of FDI, Shanxi economy has grown quickly, and industrial structure has upgraded steadily. In recent years, the local government devotes itself to increase the scale of FDI, and neglect the quality of FDI.So FDI's negative effects on industrial structure have been reflected gradually. In order to optimize the Shanxi industrial structure,this paper presents some suggestions, for example, work out some industrial policy, improve the investment environment, etc.In the process of Shanxi industrial structure adjustment, FDI has played a certain role. What is the relationship between FDI and industrial structure upgrading? Some scholars believe that FDI accelerates industrial structure optimization. But other scholars believe that due to economic backwardness and local business depressed, this positive effect is not obvious.This paper introduces the regression analysis, and discusses the extent of FDI's effect on promote industrial development.This paper consists of six chapters. In the first chapter, this paper describes the main contents. In the second chapter, summarizes the relevant theories about FDI and industrial structure. In chapter 3,utilizes the massive statistical data, specifically describes the condition of Shanxi industrial structure at present. In chapter 4, this paper introduces the regression analysis, to demonstrate the unique feature of FDI in our province and develop positive effect on industrial structure. In the final two chapters, by drawing on the successful industrial policies in other countries,we must learn how to tend FDI's benefits and avoid its harms.Focused on this realistic problem, I put forward some suggestions to local government for using FDI to optimize the Shanxi industrial structure. |
