Hangzhou located at Yangtse Delta economic cycle, the economy is developed. Hangzhou has unique tourist resources, entrusts with naturally the unique environment and several thousand year human culture accumulates, causes Hangzhou to become place of the scenic spot. Hangzhou inbound tourism developed rapidly in recent years. In 2008 reception inbound tourists surpass 2,200,000, but the Hangzhou tourism is relatively low level of internationalization. Therefore, Hangzhou becomes "Eastern leisure" and "the international scenery tourist city" the task is also very heavy. As a result of the present tourism's competition, already became the source of tourist market competition. Therefore, this article begins from the source of tourist market analysis. Using the shift-share method (SSM), the competitive state theory and preference scale model to analyze Hangzhou inbound tourism from different aspects. Attempts to summarize the source of tourists market characteristic and the suggestions of the development for Hangzhou inbound tourism market. This paper consists of 7 parts.Chapter one is Preface. In this part, the research background and methods are introduced; besides, the analysis frame of the thesis is explained.Chapter two is research summary.
