With the trend of economic globalization and developing the well-off society,the function of towns is increasingly clear and the regional economic gap is becoming larger. Whether urban and rural integration planning in big cities is reasonable, scientific, whether it will yield benefits of different resources at its most and the speed of urban and rural integration and its promotion to social industries,these have become an issue to decide the economic development and social stability in marginal areas. How to coordinate the development between cities and marginal areas, and how to promote the integration planning in marginal areas of big cities have aroused the concern of experts, scholars and governmental deciders.After summing up the previous study on urban and rural integration in marginal areas of big cities, this thesis explains intension, function and features, analyzes the specific meaning and planning request on integration in marginal areas of cities, deeply analyzes the urban and rural integration model based on urban and rural integration planning, that is , to integrate the city center, surrounding towns and villagers , to plan them, to study and formulate all policies on city and village coordination, and to plan the population distribution, industry construction, ground layout, infrastructure. After learning from the experience of urban and rural integration both at home and abroad, the writer takes Pengzhou region as an example, use SWOT analyzing method to analyze the current situation and developing model on urban and rural integration planning construction from industry space layout, industry construction current situation, regional traffic current situation and field using current situation. With such analysis, the writer proposes urban and rural integration planning conception in order to provide advices for accelerating the construction of urban and rural integration.
