At the leisure times, mineral spring is becoming one of the most popular physical recreational activities in the world. Modern mineral spring is the progressing product of the traditional spring to meet the needs of the personalize tourist times. China, as one of the resourceful countries in the world, the development of mineral spring industry in China has been started in the 1990s, developed from the primeval sanatorium modal to integrated tourist & holiday resort with various kinds of functions combined together, such as tourism, leisure, vacation and recreation, etc.However, the tourist product mostly stained at the traditional mineral spring resort centered on bath already could not meet the demand with the diversified functions of mineral spring resort. Mineral spring product has many problems like the single product construction, inadequate cultural connotation, low product added-value, etc. So the progressing of the mineral spring tourist & holiday resort will be the research hot topic of the progressed mineral spring industry in future.Through the analysis and research for the status of Spa Tourism's development at home and aboard, this essay is to understand the concept and related contents of mineral spring resort and its product. In accordance with Life Cycle Theory, Innovation Theory, Marketing and Theory of Sustainable Development from the angle of geography and tourism, this essay is to point out a clew and strategy for tourism product's further development from the aspects of vertical, horizontal and association based on the analysis of the feasibility of further development for Luofu Mountain Mineral Spring Resort(1) Further develop inner-construction by starting with the mineral spring resource. By researching of the value of the current resource, like medicinal property and cultural intention, deeply analyze the developable value point in its potential value to develop new product.(2) Vertical point is to focus on the optimization and innovation of resource combination as well as expand the spring products'extension field. Through the analysis and evaluation of other resources in resort, choose the optimal resource to become the image of tourism destination and core elements of the brand.(3) The integrity of product association includes the rebuild of the image for the product and brand, such as marketing strategy's updating and supporting facility's complementation, etc. The six elements of tourism, food, housing, transportation, visiting, purchasing and entertainment are all included.Tourism product is the core which the mineral spring enterprises depend on for existence and its connotation and extension are continually expanding and updating. As for the development and innovation of spring product, it should not be remain on updating and developing, but that should analyze every step from the angle of industrial chain in order to get to know systematically as well as implement the conversion from resource to product, publicity to market and its sustainable development.
