Research On The Competence Of Chinese International Contractors Based On BP Neural Network

In recent years, the market of the international contract has gone into a continuous prosperous period, and it is can be said that there are full of opportunities in this market. Engineering-News-Record, a magazine in the US, evaluates the 225 leading international contractors annually. This is regared as the most authorative ranking of international contractors, and has become an important reference for the evaluation of the total power for the contactor. But seen from its current ranking, what our country lacks is the contractor enterprices of leading position in the international market. And such phenomena can be concluded to the reason as the devoid of the competitive power. So, it is obvious that we must enhance the core competence if we want to step into the international contract market.The discussion of the competence should start from the following three aspects: the first is the key factor that identifies the total competence of contractor enterprises; the second is to use what to evaluate the international contractor's competence, namely, the construction of the system of evaluation and index; and the last is which measures should be implemented to assess the factors that affect the total competence in a more precise way.This thesis, based on the analysis and research made by the researches of this issue home and abroad, has found that the past researchers, based on different theoretical and practical angle, and concluded the main factors that affects the competence of contractor enterprises in our country. And these include too many factors, among which are social system, culture, finance, law, enterprise, human resource, technique, domestic market, foreign market their administration and etc. However, all the past researches have not get a relatively uniform conclusion, and in the same time there is no researcher who synthensizes the above factors.So, as mentioned above, this thesis is based on the past researches, and classifies and summarizes them, and gets a primary conclusion of which factors the affect the power of national enterprises. And those factors contain many aspects that reflect the competence of gobal contrat.For the issue of how to weigh the competitive power, this thesis has used a simplified and relatively effective assessment measures to evaluate the competence. According to correlate data collected from ENR and documents from various companies, and then diposes those data with the application of the BP Artificial Neural Network, it finds the significance of each factor in the model of evaluation for the competitive power. And then based on this research, this thesis analyses ranks the competence of international contract enterprises. And then get the main differences between this type of companies both domestically and abroad. And then it lists the shortcomings of domestic contract companies.At last, this thesis makes some suggestions and advice of how to enhance competence of such domestic companies.
