The Trend Of Development Of Chinese City Commercial Bank Merger & Acquisition

City Commercial Banks are playing more and more important role in China financial system. Since 1998, many City Commercial Banks have been looking for new model and method of M&A. This thesis summarized some problems in past M&A process and some new development requirements of City Commercial Bank. Meanwhile, the thesis analyzed academic meaning of M&A and made comparative analysis between Chinese City Commercial Bank and similar banks in Japan and Germany. Finally, the thesis put forward some new trend and model for future M&A of City Commercial Bank in China.
