The customers demand now has such characteristics as more varieties and little batch. It needs the enterprise to meliorate in ordering policy so as to respond to the market fleetly, especially for popular, defective items and those with short life cycle. However, in the current buyer's market environment, enterprises are facing an increasingly serious problem of the return, a large number of returns seriously affect the company's profits and reputation. For a large retailer, the phenomenon is much more notable. Its return rates are as high as 75 percent. Since some of these returns are resalable, these resalable returns should be taken into account in order to determine an optimal order quantity and an optimal time to meet the largest expecting profits.Based on the newsboy model this thesis studied the optimal order quantities and the optimal order opportunity whose objective is to optimize the expected profits. Also, based on summarizing of the relevant literature and from the perspective of retailers, we studied systematically on problem of repetitious resalable returns model and strategic choice.First, under the conditions of providers not offering price time discounts, we first of all aiming at a kind of deteriorating items with shelf life, respectively established risk-lovers and risk-averters'repetitious resalable returns models and used Kuhn-Tucker theory to get the the solution. And then aiming at the existed preferable goods, we established a large mail order's repetitious resalable model and using probability theory to got the the solution. Last, aiming at new alternative perishable goods, we used fuzzy theory to get the solution.Second, on the basis of the above models, the numerical examples are carried out to illustrate the application of the model. And aiming at the issues and conclusions we put forward suggestions.Last, under the conditions of providers offering price time discounts, we established a large mail order's repetitious resalable model and using differential theory abtained solution. Also, sensitivity analysis is carried out to illustrate the application of the model.
