Facing the problems of prices rising of coal, ore, freight, utilities, etc. and prices declining of steel product, iron and steel enterprises have to level up management to reduce production cost and retain their competitive advantage. The thesis mainly examines the algorithm and the effect to sinter cost with the optimization model of raw materials mixing of sinter. And the research is of practical value to iron and steel enterprises.Firstly the thesis claims the purpose and significance of the problem, overviews the background of the sintering, summarizes the present status of optimization model research in sintering. And then the thesis designates the content and technology of the research. Then considered the conditions of the internship of the enterprise, the second part of the thesis depicts the base and rationale of mathematical optimization and digital computation. With the combination of the research, the third part introduces the fix ratio method with empirical procedure. With that work and according to some basic assumptions, the thesis builds up an Linear programming (LP) model and a linear fractional programming (LFP) model to calculate the fix ratio of stuffs in order to minimize the producing cost of sinter subjected to chemical constrains, alkalinity constrains, overseas ore proportion constrains etc. After that, the thesis takes steps to use the mathematical optimization theory of search algorithm to compute the optimum. Taking use of the practical data from some iron and steel company, it is convenient to calculate the fix ratio of sinter ore of the two models. And the analysis of calculation result lately shows that the LFP model is more economical then the LP model which can save 2.85% of sinter ore cost.
