Multi-attribute decision making is one of the key research topics in the decision making fields now, which has been regarded and concerned increasingly to scholars and administrators. Actually, Multi-attribute decision making is a sort and the optimal choice on several properties from a finite number of options, and then coming to a comprehensive result to help policy makers making the right decisions. But in the actual decision-making process, for the complexity of the objective world, subjectivity of decision-makers and uncertainty decision-making information, resulting in many properties can not be clear and unified, and thus it is difficult to make the right decisions. Many decision-making data are in the form of fuzzy numbers in practice, therefore, comparison and ranking of fuzzy numbers and application in decision-making is particularly important.This paper is to study the interval number and fuzzy number ranking methods and related applications in decision making. (1) Interval ranking function e ? measure is given, by which interval numbers can be sorted on the interval e ? measure; Multiple-attribute decision making method is given, which property value is interval number. (2) According to fuzzy set theory, the e ? measureof interval number presented by this paper is extended to E ? measure ranking function of fuzzy number, by which to sort the fuzzy numbers. Multiple-attribute decision making with fuzzy number of property value is given. (3), The ranking method of fuzzy numbers is compared with existing ranking methods. An example is given. (4), The current domestic and foreign bank credit risk rating indexes system is summarized. The method for determining the weights of bank credit risk rating indexes based on judgment matrix theory is given. Based on the fuzzy number ranking method presented by this paper, a ranking method based on fuzzy number ranking method of bank credit risk is given, which can solve the practical problems.
