How to set up a bright and unique tourism image is important for a tourism destination to occupy a dominant position in the competition.Weita doline is the world's largest discovered the only human habitation karst doline, and is the dak of tea horse road, have beautiful natural scenery and pleasant climate, It is a great and valuable tourism resource. As a tourism destination has not yet developed, in order to gain competitive advantage in the market, only in-depth study of the landscape features, create a distinctive and unique image, can open the market, and increase visibility.This paper based on a comprehensive analysis and conclusion on the related researches home and abroad, applied some theories and methods in tourism, tourism geography, tourism planning, marketing and communication, linked the actual situation of Weita closely with a combination of macro and micro perspective, theoretical analysis and empirical study. The methods of literature study, comparative analysis and model building are employed in this research. Specifically, this paper includes following 3 parts:Firstly, analysis of the karst landscape features. From the karst landscape causes and classifications, in-depth analysis of the tourism resources of karst doline, and karst doline abroad to conduct comparative analysis, pave the way for the thesis.Secondly, establish karst tourism image and technical procedures. based on the previous study, summing up and enhance, establish the karst tourism image and technical procedures. Based on the in-depth investigations of karst landscape features, the analysis of context, image analysis and replace the image perception survey, then put forward the image orientation, logo designing and image extension strategy.Thirdly, study of Weita karst doline tourism image molding. Assess its landscape features from the typical and scarcity, systematic and integrity, aesthetic value and scientific value. Extract five contexts of Weita doline: geological wonders, silk and tea dak, customs, rural scenery and pleasant climate. Put forwards Weita image orientation: "the world's largest habitat doline, Asia's longest cave conglomerate."Then put forwards logo designing and the visual image as a reference.
