In gradually fierce home market of market competition, in order to attract limited consumer resource , increase market share , gain maximal benefit, the sales promotion among the firm fights fiercely . On one hand, the country encourages to implement scientific develooement concept,carry out the sustainable strategy and economical resource, take a path of sustainable development leaks. Another aspect , the firm carry out sales promotion activity energetically to attract consumer purchase. In these sales promotion activities, whether the sales promotion bringing about a resource dissipation or not, whether the consumer have sufficient cognition to this dissipation. So far, the research on the two aspects in the homeland is few. So the reseach on the waster on the sales promotion is significance to build a "liang of type " society to our country.This research mainly takes youth consumer in Chongqing city of six area as object of the study , carries out the random questionnaire to gain the data on inquiry.In order to has more representativeness for this reseach, the describes analysis on the kinds of sales promotion is in progress mainly to find out which sales promotion is the consumer preferrer and find out which sales promotion cause the waster largerer. The demonstration studies is main on the cognition of the consumer about the commodity packaging and the entirety and subdivide of the commodity.Study result display originally: Bigger extravagant phenomenon to resource is existing in sales promotion, but the degree of the consumer cognition is low and has difference. This research again carries out key-point investigation on the marketplace specifically for finding out the reasons of the low and different cognition. Fouding oue the main sales promotions which have cause extravagant to resource and submits rational policy and suggestion.The main contribution studying lies in capital, from the field promoting the sales of comes to study extravagant resource phenomenon, one having enriched domestic research about sales promotion; Two has provided rational science policy suggestion to "the society who carries out the science development Taoist temple , a path of sustainable development leaks , builds harmony".
