| In the complex and changeable world economical environment, quality of a product has become the crucial factor for enterprise to achieve its success in the fiercer competition. Manufacturing process is important to assure quality of product when its design quality has been confirmed. To manage and control product quality better in manufacturing process, we must understand how the quality of product forms during the manufacturing process. To know the rule quality forms in manufacturing process can help us find key quality characteristics for controlling. Also, it is important for tracing to the source when there are some defects of product and for forecasting state of quality in manufacturing process.The research on process quality control seems be paid more attention than research on the rule quality forms in manufacturing process nowadays. Process quality control can monitor quality fluctuation and its trend, thus quality fluctuation can be reduced and defective product can be prevented. However, the process in manufacturing is considered independent in research on quality control. Therefore, when defective products are produced, we can't find the real problem process rapidly and accurately, neither can we forecast the quality state in next process according to quality control model. To solve this problem, this paper has made some research on the relevance between processes and the relevance between quality and factors which affect product's quality in manufacturing period.First, the paper has made an analysis on the present research about manufacturing process management and controlling. With the research point of the relevance among the manufacturing processes almost hasn't been focused until now, this paper has proposed the research topic on the relevance between different processes in manufacturing phase, including its main research content.Second, quality characteristics and its classification, factors which affects products'quality in manufacturing process are introduced. Also the formation of quality characteristics during the whole life of a product is analyzed. Then manufacturing process quality characteristics relevance chain is proposed and the conceptual model of the chain is given.Third, manufacturing process is divided into machining phase and assembling phase, the relevancy between two contiguity processes are analyzed in each phase respectively. At the same time, the relevancy between quality characteristics and factors which affect the characteristics are analyzed.At last, the method of how to use manufacturing process quality characteristics relevance chain to trace to the source of product's deficiency and to forecast the quality state next process is introduced. The method's application has been introduced with the concrete examples. |
