With the diversification of customers'demands, the increase of market competition, and the development of information technology, enterprises began to use ERP system. However, the value of ERP projects in many firms has not been realized completely. The main reason is that those firms didn't implement and use ERP system efficiently. As a result, it becomes a critical task for modern business executives to accept and implement ERP system efficiently in order to realize the organic fusion of technology and management. This paper combines both theoretical exploration and demonstration analyses. Based on two theories, TAM and TOE, this paper proposes a new integrated model for analyzing ERP implementation by drawing the institution theory of the organization assimilation, while it considers the characteristics of ERP implementation. Three dimensions, technical characteristics, organizational characteristics and environmental characteristics, are included for the empirical study. Technical factors include relative advantage and compatibility; Organizational factors include organization centralization, IT competence and leaders'support and participation; Environmental factors include coercive pressures, mimetic pressures and normative pressures. Relative advantage can subdivide perceived direct advantage and perceived indirect advantage while compatibility subdivides technical compatibility and organizational compatibility. Besides, the paper designs three controlled variables, enterprises'industry, enterprises'economic type and enterprises'scale, while enterprises'scale include employees'number of the enterprises and enterprises'sale. SPSS 17.0 and AMOS 17.0 were used to factor analysis, hypothesis test, path analysis and variance analysis. Results from a survey involving managers and employees in our firms are as follows:(1)Technical compatibility, IT competence and mimetic pressures don't have any strong effects on ERP implementation, while other factors'influences have been empirically verified.(2)Enterprises'industry and employees'number have significant effect on ERP implementation, while other two controlled variances'influences haven't been empirically verified.(3)ERP perceived ease of use don't have any strong effects on ERP implementation, while other two relations have been empirically verified.(4)According to the research results of influence factors of ERP implementation, the research proposes advices to enterprises, ERP system provider and government, and analyses management strategy and helps the enterprise information practice.
