It has been thirty years since China started reform and began a policy of opening up China to the outside world. With the continual and fast development of the macro economy of our country the real estate trades have already become an important component of national economy. Before 2008, China's real estate industry has maintained a high-speed growth which attracts a large number of enterprises to enter the real estate industry. It leads to not only fierce competition but also real estate bubble. The economic crisis in 2008 had a negative impact on the real estate industry which made both trading volume and price of real estate descend. How to intensify market competition in the fierce competition and crisis is an urgent problem for most of real estate enterprises. The project management is an important method. With using scientific and mature theories and methods of project management real estate enterprises can manage all stages of the real estate development well and intensify market competition.By using project management theory of modern real estate as well as my practical experience and understanding in real estate project management, this thesis gives dissertation on feasibility demonstration, schedule management, quality management, cost management and post project evaluation of real estate project.This thesis is divided into 6 chapters. Chapter 1 gives the background of this research, the status of project management and developing trend in global and the research methods used in this research. Chapter 2 states not only concepts of the project and project management, but also steps and methods of the project management. Chapter 3 analyzes the existing circumstance of real estate industry and then points out the existing problems, at the end introduces major models of the project management. Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 are the key parts of this thesis. Chapter 4 analyzes the key parts of the project management of the real estate which includes feasibility study, schedule management, quality management, cost management and post project evaluation. In the Chapter 5 is the case-study of SD-Gold Green Garden Real Estate Company. It analyzes its key parts of the project management and finally integrate theory with practice well. Chapter 6 is the conclusion of this thesis.To provide some references to other Project through The author'experiences of practice in real estate project management are the goal of this thesis.
