Design And Implementation Of Insurance Management Information System Based On C/S Mode

According to actual situation of the power supply company, the insurance management information system(IMIS) based on C/S mode was developed. First , based on the investigation of insurance and related management, the system goals, development model and development platform were established. Then, the database and data sheet of IMIS were established, which is divided into seven categories: basic data information table, staff salary data table, staff insurance setting and calculate table, medical treatment information data table, unemployment insurance data table, endowment insurance information data table, provident fund information data table. Finally, PowerBuilder and Oracle is selected for the former empoldering tool and the background database respectively, the insurance management information system (IMIS) is developed, whose function includes system management, all kinds of insurance calculate module, medical treatment management module, endowment insurance management module, unemployment insurance management module, provident management module, limit management. The system can realize processes computerizing of medical treatment insurance, endowment insurance, unemployment insurance and housing provident business.
