Study On Structure Of Aquatic Products Export Trade In China

China is big acquatic production country, the total production is persist in increasing from opening and reform.Since 1989, our aquatic production is always on the first place among the global countries. And the international trade of China's acquatic is developed very well, the acquatic export amount is always on the first place in the world, acquatic product have been becoming the important product which can bring the foreign exchange, and can increace farmer's income. But the export rate of our acquatic product is very low. The rate of our acquatic export amount and production amount is only 5.04% in 2003, but at the the corresponding period, the rate from the work can reach 36.71%. The low export rate affect our acquatic development.This paper use the the theoretical knowledge of international trade economics, industry economics and quantitative economics, use the dispersion index, Lawrence index and revealed comparative advantage index, empirical analysis China acquatic product's export trade commodity structure and make structure,which is very important to improve the increase the export of aquatic product, make China become a strong production country and a strong international country from a big production country and a big international country. The research result show that, China aquatic product's export commodity's dispersion extent change is small, it almost maintain at 3.6~3.7, the export market's structure's dispersion extend is almost maintain at 3.5~4.0, and the dispersion extend show the rising trend. China's acquatic product export almost focus on the Japan, EU, USA and South Korea markets, and the dependence to Japan is lower year by year, and proportion to EU and USA is increasing year by year, the maket structure venture is lower. And through the analysis of the commodity export to Japan, EU, USA, South of Korea and Hong Kong, it shows that the demand adaptability to EU and South of Korea is strong, and the demand adaptability to Japan,USA and Hong Kong is weak.Based on the above analyses, this paper put over some advise to adjust and optimize China aquatic export commodity structure and market structure: strengthen and extend 0372 and 0371's competitive status on the target market; Improve 034 product's quality and addedvalue, enlarge the product's export; enlarge the export to USA and EU, and enlarge the export to new market, for example, Thailand, Malaysia, Russia and Canada Markets, adequate use the Landras advantage and good trade environment, to enlarge the new market and potential market; Establis the quality testing system, control the quality of product from production, processing, package, transportaion, to improve the our aquadic product credit in the global market.
