In the past few decades, as city economy growing, the structure and function adjusted and large influx of urban population, raised new requirements of the space of the city. There should be more space for economic gross which keep growing after it reaches a certain level. A considerable number of large and medium cities in China have developed ambitious planning of urban expansion. The real estate development is a major part of urban development, also the primary means of urban renovation and expansion of space. With the city environment, and infrastructure construction has achieved remarkable results, partition of urban function had also formed. Group of high-grade office buildings and business exhibition at the core of the central business district (CBD), new residential area, commercial area and other neighborhood gathering has begun the formation of new city layout, more and more attentions has focused on research of real estate development space.In this context, this paper start from the spatial structure of cities and development zones place, summarized the major factor in regional space which impact the development of real estate. Also setting Chengdu as an example, studies the real estate development space from a macro point of view, so as to carry out the basis provides for specific micro-level analysis.This paper divided into six major parts. Part one is an introduction, describes the research background and the subject of starting the study purpose, method, region and so on. Part two reviews the domestic and international real estate development on the state space theory. The third part use the previous theories, describes the impact of real estate development a major factor in the space. The fourth part is the analysis of the status of the real estate market of the main city of Chengdu. Introduces the main city of Chengdu, home-based real estate and business-based real estate development history, layout, and the problems arising from so. The fifth part is combined with the previous theoretical analysis of the impact from the macro expansion of urban space in Chengdu and major factor in the development of the real estate market and its situation is analyzed. Part six for the countermeasures and suggestions, based on the preceding analysis and results, provides positive recommendations for a better and more reasonable Chengdu space development and real estate market.
