The customer satisfaction of the company represents the satisfaction towards its products and services. Obtaining and retaining customer loyalty is in the critical position if the company wants to survival and gain profit in the extremely intense environment. This is why customer satisfaction model to be used. The customer satisfaction model is a particular case of structural equation model which use latent variables such as" customer satisfaction" to deal with those comments from customers. It is the model that combine econometrics and statistical technique. At present time, when dealing with sampling size of the customer satisfaction survey, researches usually start off from model fit indexes. However, practical researchers care more about latent variable "customer satisfaction", and want to know more information about it and hope start off from it. Due to its unobservability, common methods of deciding sample size can't be used directly. This paper considers the sampling size of customer satisfaction survey which is based on customer satisfaction model. The standard of sampling size we consider is:sampling size N not only satisfy the confidence level of the interval estimation of the mean v of latent variable "customer satisfaction" is 1—α, but also controls the length of the interval less and equal to 2d(d>0).This paper starts uses maximum likelihood method to get the estimation of param-eters. Utilize latent variable scores from Karl G.Joreskog(2000) to get the latent variable scores of the model and get more properties of these estimations:under proper assump-tion, customer satisfaction score(the latent variable score of latent variable "customer satisfaction") has the same distribution with latent variable "customer satisfaction" it-self. Therefore,we can use customer satisfaction score in stead of the observation of "cus-tomer satisfaction" to decide the sampling size. Then we give out the sampling plan and sampling size that satisfy our standard. Finally, through a case study, we establish the customer satisfaction model, estimate parameters, calculate sampling size and research the precision of the sampling plan which is helpful to practical researchers.
