A Study On The Administration System And Developing Scheme Of Hohhot Economic Development District

During the 30 years'of open and reform, China's economy has experienced great development and transformation not only on its total amount but also on the aspects of structure, area allocation, environment, social foundation and so on. During such development, the fast growth of the Economic Development Districts (hereinafter referred as EDD) all over China are outstanding, the remarkable drive of EDD to the surrounding area and the typical problem are very attractive to both economy researchers and government. In the early 1990's, Huhehaote authorities started their's EDDs and which have been one of the main drives of the local economy growth since then. On the background of the economy globalization, production chain re-distribution and the change of each country's relative production cost, China is upgrading it industries. Hence, how to keep EDD's growth thus driving the local economy is a very important issue for local governments. In this article, the administration systems and developing schemes of some EDD'S in different countries is studied, in order to identify and solve the problems of the EDD of Huhehaote, in respect of legislation, administration, incentive policy, human resources, market environment, financing and so on.
