Chen Yun attaches great importance to our country's agriculture, who is one of the pioneers and founders of China's socialist cause. He always considers it from a strategic height, long-term perspective, and the overall situation of national economic construction, especially treasures its important position and role in the development and construction of our country's economy. This paper describes the birth, formation and development process of Chen Yun's thought of agriculture in a chronological order, highlighting his theoretical explorations of each historical period. It elaborates the main component of Chen Yun's thought of agriculture from following issues: Development of agriculture is the state's top priority;How to correctly handle the relationship between the proportion of industrial and agricultural production ; Preferentially developing agriculture, protecting and mobilizing the enthusiasm of farmers are the important guarantee of agricultural development and progress;Adhere to the road of science and technology and market agriculture. Article on Chen Yun's re-thinking of the real value of agriculture. Chen Yun's important that the study of agricultural and farmers thought highly of the current political considerations in rural China,enhance the "three rural" issue which runs through China's modernization process and the understanding of the issues, coordinating relations between workers and peasants, solve the current food problem has an important role in guiding and practical value.
