Employee turnover is an important phenomenon which has been concerned in multidisciplinary and enterprises in recent years. But the mainstream research of turnover takes "atomic turnover" as the basic form. These studies focused on individual turnover intention and the motivation and process and consequences of turnover behavior, yet ignoring the relevance and group characteristics in the time and space among different individuals who leave as well as the job leaver and the coworkers in the same corporation. This research perspective is confronted with enormous challenge in explaining the intrinsic motivation of actual turnover and analyzing the profound impact of turnover. We takes the research perspective of collective turnover as the highly meaningful point in coping with the challenge.Collective turnover appears with an increasing frequency as a special pattern of flow. Collective turnover which is a cohesive and clustered employee flow is different from the individuals'turnover in the consequence. It will not only have important influence on career and team development, but also the great factors of the success of enterprise and industry evolution. There will be vital theoretical significance and practical guidance by concerning about the phenomenon of collective turnover, especially the multiple levels consequence of collective turnover.This study sums up the explicit and tacit features of collective turnover by means of literature Review and case study. What's more, it is involved with CNKI (China National Knowledge Internet) database and online media through public reporting of collective turnover events. This study puts forward a perspective for analyzing the consequence of employee collective turnover based on considering the influence of multi-stakeholders'motivation. Then we analyze the different influence of individual, team, organization and industry. Finally, we probe into the multi-level effects arising from the consequences of collective turnover in Taiwan's IC industry based on interviews.This study aims to make academic groups leave enough attention to this phenomenon and in-depth study through systemizing relative research of collective turnover. The second purpose is to comb the theoretical basis of collective turnover from a broader perspective and sum up the features of collective turnover from multi-stakeholders. The third is to analyze the consequence and probe into the influence on individual career, team development, enterprise grow and industry evolution especially the correlation between the various levels from the perspective of collective turnover.This study tries to use qualitative research methods to explore the significance of theoretical perspective. It aims to search for a comprehensive and clear answer in order to provide necessary theoretical support for the future empirical research on the relative subject of collective turnover.
