This paper mainly discussed the internal oil security policy of the United States during the three times oil crisis occured in the later half century of 20th , the impact of these crisis on the Untied States oil security policy and its growth from the youth to the maturity as well. According to the thesis,the whole paper has been divided into four parts.The cause of the first oil crisis, the United States internal oil security policy after the crisis and the protecting action took by the United States government after the crisis as well are the main tasks for the first part. The fourth Middle-east war occured in the October 1973 forced the oil-produced countries in the Arabic world to reduce output, embargo, increase the price,oil nationalization and other measurements on the United States and others who supported Israeli,which resulted in the first oil crisis. The incumbent president of The United States Richard Nixon took a series of oil security policy for the sake of leviating the affect of that crisis,which produced some tentative functions in the end. The United States government also established an international energy agency in which it played the most importance role. This agency had turned to a body that quested for dialogue and cooperation with the OPEC organization from an agency aimed to confront with it initially.The Iranian Revolution and the succeeding Iraq-Iran war triggered the price of the crude oil to increase dramatically which led the oil crisis loomed again.
